These fascinating pieces of art are crafted by indigenous Wayuu women inhibiting the visually striking desert of the La Guajira Peninsula, which borders Northeastern Colombia and Northwest Venezuela.
Wayuu women are responsible for their household so they are only able to crochet in between their household responsibilities which means a single bag can take 15-20 days, on average, to make. Weavers also have different skill levels so some may take more or less time to finish a bag, depending on the size, design complexity, and skill of the weaver. The symbolic patterns and colors represent their culture and environment. Every bag is carefully crocheted and "made with love in every thread".
CLEANING: Turn inside out and machine wash in cold water on a delicate cycle. Brush tassels while still damp. Hang to dry.

All other products (Bags, Accessories, Coasters, etc.) will be shipped within 2-3 business days. Please allow 3-7 business days to receive your order.
Our standard working days are Monday through Friday. Next-day delivery orders placed after 10:00 a.m. on Friday will be shipped the following Monday.

ONLINE RETURN POLICY
We want you to love your purchase! We will happily accept returns postmarked within 14 days of receiving your order. Returned items must have tags intact and be in the condition they were received with no visible signs of wear or use. Items may be returned for an exchange, store credit, or refund.
All shipping costs are non-refundable. This includes shipping costs from shipper to sender and vice versa. If your purchase was eligible for free shipping our original shipping costs may be deducted from your refund.

To initiate a return, please complete the following steps:
- Go to our “Contact Us” page on our website stracciorico.com.
- Indicate your order number, product(s) you’d like to return, and reason for return. We will respond to your return/exchange request within 48 hours.
- Upon approval, we will email you a return label. Please mark “RETURN” on the outside of the package.
- Once we receive and inspect your return, we will email, indicating if we accept your return for store credit or exchange.
- Your store credit or exchange will be processed within 7 business days of receiving your return, less any shipping charges. We will email you a confirmation.
DAMAGED OR FAULTY GOODS
If you receive an item that is damaged or faulty, please notify us via email at email@example.com, within 24 hours. We require photos of the damages and note if the damages appear to be carrier related.
